there is alot of competition in the handheld gameing devicesyou can buy the nintendo DS, Playstation portable and the gameboy. the PSP is alot better than th DS because it has a much better memory a bigger screen and alot better graphics there are also alot of extras you can do on the ds such as the PSP can go on the internet and you can also watch movies there is also more games avalible for the PSP
this makes the PSP the ultimate gameing experiance

i cant quite honestly say that i have more to do in my life than go around playing games, having a normal psp is bad enough but having one that you can take along with you is just asking to be an unsocialble recluse.

I don't know if you realised this but the DS is selling God knows how many million consoles where as the PSP is hardly selling at all, what does that tell you. It's not all about graphics and the DS does have good graphics as well st look at metroid prime hunters for DS. Oh! and you can go on the internet. DS Rules!!!

since when is gaming just about graphics, even if this was the only factor in gaming the DS would still win, the DS uses many innovative new ideas to bring new people into the world of gaming.
with lots of great games for the console its no wonder that the DS is more popular than the PSP

I have a psp and i dont even play it that often, if you say since when has it been about gaming, thats the main feature of a DS and besides a psp and a DS arent made by the same company so you can't expect one to be like the other, at least a psp actually has other functions.
I infact got my psp because i previously tried both and i just think that the psp is better value for what you get, i hate to be like everyone else and compare myself and what i prefer i think it's pathetic but if i had to pick one i'm afraid it would be a psp.
however you failed to mention the interactive screen on the DS and bluetooth
this has high levels of excitment for young siblings
so the Ds and Psp cannot be compared with each other due to the different target marketing
I own a PSP and my brother owns a DS, so I have had a chance to test out both. The PSP is much more comfortable to hold due to extensive ergonomic research carried out by Sony. Also, you can watch films, listen to music, browse the internet and create your own user interface. The overall aesthetic look of the PSP is also considered to be much better than that of the DS. The only problem is, the PSP is more expensive than the DS, which is annoying, but it didn't stop me from buying it.
i really like the ds and havent tried using a PSP im sure it is a very good but i prefer the ds as it has a variety of games which any normal person could afford rather than the cost of the PSP games although you can watch movies on a PSP isnt that what a tv is for!
After playing both the DS and the PSP and having around 10 games or more on both of them I personally think the PSP is better.
The games are mainly longer, have better graphics and a wider variety. Most games on the DS are more for a family audience and casual play
Also there are more features on the PSP like wireless Internet, you can use your psp to store videos, game demos, store music, watch films.
Really you can personalize it much more
The only thing that the DS has which the PSP doesn't is its touch screen which can be fun with alot of games but with others its not really needed.
Even so I do like the DS I just think it doesnt compare to the PSP.
